What this site does

Concretely, on every page:

• Proper landmarks, headings and labels, so screen readers can navigate by structure.
• Everything operable with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline throughout.
• Text that scales to 200% and reflows down to a 320-pixel-wide screen without loss.
• Light and dark themes that follow your device setting — both designed, both checked.
• Motion that respects your reduced-motion setting; nothing autoplays, nothing flashes.
• No time limits, no overlays to dismiss, and no cookie banner, because there are no cookies.
• Fonts served from this site itself, so pages render the same without third-party requests.

How we check

Every page of this site is checked with automated accessibility tooling in both light and dark themes, at desktop size and at 320 pixels wide with text at 200%. Keyboard paths are exercised in the same run, and these checks live in the same repository as the site — a page with a serious violation fails them.

Automated checks are a floor, not a finish line: the layouts are also reviewed by hand with a keyboard and at high magnification, because tooling cannot judge whether a page is calm.

If you are taking part in a study and something in the app or on paper is hard to use, telephone your study team — accessibility problems are theirs to hear about too, and they can pass them to us.
